SubscriberSuppose a fluid is flowing between two parallel plates (and exchanging heat) for 100-time steps. So, there is an area weighted Average temperature at every 10 steps. How can I write an UDF to calculate average of these 10 temperatures and display this on console? n -

Forum ModeratorWith some difficulty unless you use something like DEFINE_ON_DEMAND or the like. Have a look at data sampling as that'll average the whole flow field over the period it's active and you can then report the mass-average temperature on the outlet. Have a look at the maths behind area-weighted and mass-weighted and explain which you should use & why. n -
