How to boolean cylindrical geometry from a rectangular domain

      Hi

I need to perform a Boolean operation on the following geometry. the thickness of the cylinder is the same as the thickness of the fluid domain, but when I perform this operation using design modeler, it gives the following error:

Error: Operation would result in non-manifold bodies
Context: Geometry Engine, while generating Feature Boolean1

it means it cannot subtract the cylinder out of rectangular with the same thickness because when I reduce the thickness of cylinder then it works but i don't need it.

Is there any other way of subtracting cylinder out of rectangular fluid domain?

      Thank you and kind regards

Make the cylinder a bit bigger.  The non-manifold error is because you're creating a surface with zero area (intersect between the cylinder & plane surface) which breaks the geometry definitions.

Thank you very much for your kind help, I have tried this way and its working. But does the portion of cylinder outside the fluid domain make any difference in calculations ?as the shape is somehow changing. Although its very small also.

      Figure is attached:

      Kind Regards
