SubscriberHi
I need to perform a Boolean operation on the following geometry. the thickness of the cylinder is the same as the thickness of the fluid domain, but when I perform this operation using design modeler, it gives the following error:
Error: Operation would result in non-manifold bodies
Context: Geometry Engine, while generating Feature Boolean1
it means it cannot subtract the cylinder out of rectangular with the same thickness because when I reduce the thickness of cylinder then it works but i don't need it.

Is there any other way of subtracting cylinder out of rectangular fluid domain?
Thank you and kind regards

Forum ModeratorMake the cylinder a bit bigger. The non-manifold error is because you're creating a surface with zero area (intersect between the cylinder & plane surface) which breaks the geometry definitions. Â
