How to assign rotational spring stiffness for structure made of beam element

      Hello everyone,
I have modelled a wind turbine tower with using beam elements. I want to fix the bottom of the tower with elastic support (rotational spring stiffness). I haven't find an option for this in Workbench. It would be great if someone clarify this.

      Thanks

      Hi

You can have a torsional spring/beta (add connections and spring – beta options need to be on in workbench: Chapter 1: Activating Mechanical Beta Options) – say if beam is along z then it provides tors. stiffn. about the z-axis if aligned along that axis, and if you need rot. stiffn. about y and x just have a torsional spring aligned with these directions instead.

      All the best

Unlike typical racing games that emphasize speed, Eggy Car focuses entirely on control. It’s not how fast you go—it’s how well you handle the steep climbs. The steep slopes require finesse.
