How to apply on a node of a line body?

  I have a cantilever beam that is a line body (1*0.01*0.01m). I can apply a moment at the end which is a vertex, however, if I want the moment to be applied in the middle. The moment on a node has no results. How can I create a vertex in the middle without creating the model from the beginning to apply the moment?

  First create a Named Selection for one of the nodes, then you can use that Named Selection to add a Moment to that node.
