SubscriberI want to obatain the stress intensity factor from a semi-elliptical crack in the inner wall of a pipe. The boundary conditions are the one in the first image. Everything works okey but the problem is that the crack is in reality opened. This will result in opening the crack even more, so the stress intensity factor values will be higher. The problem is, that in ANSYS workbench, I do not know how to apply the pressure on the crack faces as the crack is created only in mesh, not in the geometry (you can not pick the crack faces areas and apply the pressure because the areas are simply not there).
