How to add hysteresis to B-H loop of a new material?

I am adding TDK N87 ferrite as a custom material to Ansys Maxwell. If I set the relative permeability to non-linear, it lets me define the B-H curve, but not with hysteresis. How do I add the hysteresis of the B-H curve to a custom material?

For materials like steel the BH curve that you will specify in the Maxwell material properties corresponds to the first quadrant of the hysteresis loop.

If you want to introduce half of the hysteresis loop (Maxwell is able to compute automatically the other half), then you should use the Transient solver and in the Material Properties / Core Loss Model choose Hysteresis Model, then look at the low part of the window and open the menu “calculate properties for..” and select “Hysteresis Loop”.

In you want information about this feature, please go to the Maxwell Help and look for Core Loss Model.
