How can I use max tempareture as output parameter?

      Hi there,

I am researching the calorific value of batteries through 3D fluid analysis. I am checking the results of the analysis with CFD-Post, and I would like to use Max temperature as an output parameter here. However, if normal temperature is used, the average temperature of the entire battery is displayed.

I tried putting a phrase like areaAve(max(Temperature,))@wall battery part air in CFD-Post Expressions, but it didn't work.

How can I solve this problem??
I would appreciate it if you could let me know.

      Thanks in advance

Using "areaAve" isn't going to help. What other options are there? Something with "max" in the definition may be a good starting point.

I can't define MAX(x,y) .I've been looking for it, but I'm still not sure.

That's the maximum of the two values, so should return maximum of x or y.

Try maxVal(Velocity v)@baffled   If you create a new Expression using the CFD Post editor then right click into the window there are a few options to choose from. Note, if you're using Fluent all of this can be found in the Report Surface (Volume) panel.
