How can I select internal nodes and elements?

I have a hollow cylindrical part modelled with 3D elements in Mechanical, and I want to select nodes on the inside of the cylinder for post processing. I use a section plane to hide half of the cylinder, but the hidden half is still active and preventing me from selecting nodes on the inside surface. The nodes on the outside of the hidden half is selected instead. How can I get to the nodes on the inside surface?n

nnYou can use Named Selection - Worksheet tab to select the desired nodes based on the ndal locations.nPlease see if it helps.nnRegards,nAshish Khemkan

Hi!nThanks for the solution! However, if I'm not able to pick the node in the GUI it will be very inconvenient to guess the location of the node. Is there any way of actually hiding the elements that are visually hidden by the section plane so that it is possible to select nodes in the GUI? nImage copied from a similar post:n/forum/discussion/comment/78591#Comment_78591n
