how can I obtain angular acceleration of the object in Fluent?

      G'day,

in dynamic mesh zones panel, we can get the moving object's angular velocity and angular displacement (angle), but I also need the data of its angular acceleration. Does anyone know how to get that?

Hope someone can tell me. Thank you.

I suspect you'll need previous time step velocity data and then work it out based on the time step size.

it sounds like I need to import the six DOF file into matlab or Excel, and do some commands to get angular acceleration, right?

I suspect so. The surface forces and velocity are available, acceleration is a little more complex as it's the change in velocity. If you're using a UDF check for previous time step values, but note not all data is available.
