SubscriberHello, I am new to ANSYS and I want to study the system coupling with water of my structure which is very small and fragile. I have created a water body around it and using boolean operations subtracted my structure from the water body. In below you can see my structure. My problem is I have not been able to create a decent mesh of the fluid body and due to that (I guess) I am getting an error when I run the system coupling "The incremental displacement -142081751 in this iteration is greater than the criterion of 10000000. This is indicative ". I have tried changing the method from tetrahedral to hex but it did not help. Is there anything you advise me to look at? Thank you in advance. Below mesh is shown as it is to see the inside of the fluid body with creating a section plane.

Ansys EmployeeWhat is your mesh quality? What methods are you using?
I would suggest setting proximity sizing for faces and edges to try to capture the sharp edges that you have. If you cannot achieve good quality near those sharp edges, perhaps you could round them a little bit to help with the meshing.
