SubscriberI'm trying to simulate a 3D waverider, in inviscid flow. I have created a 3D boolean from the domain by subtracting the waverider geometry from the cuboid domain. I am not trying to simulate the wake and hence the body has been cut at the inlet.
I've tried multiple different methods to attempt a 3D mesh but nothing is working. I've inserted a body sizing across the whole domain, however the internal mesh remains tetrahedrons. I then used an inflation between the domain and the waverider surface, which i thought would be perfect after seeing the mesh; near the surface of the waverider was very refined and so the shock created at Mach 6 would be very crisp and also defined. However the scaled residuals are going crazy and the inflation is somehow having negative effects??
Ive attached both pics below, in the mesh picture the layer of the mesh at the surface is 1e-8 and so i'm not sure how there is any problems with the scaled residuals.
Although the flow is inviscid right now, I will be simulating viscous effects later too, and so i want to create the mesh with a lot of cells near the surface, that way the boundary layer would accurate. Please could anyone help?

Ansys EmployeeIs this your full domain? You may need to increase your domain size.
To get full hex in such geometries, you may need ICEMCFD.
Inflation + tet should work for such geometries.
Please also use body of incluence to refine tet mesh.
Please go through help manual for more details
