SubscriberGreetings, I am simulating a droplet inside a micro-channel. I am using a coarse mesh in the domain and a mesh adaption based on the both volume fraction and the volume of fluid gradient and it is doing nice job by creating a fine mesh inside the droplet and at the droplet edges. I want to increase the vicinity of the adapted mesh to refine the area near the droplet. I tried increasing the additional refinement layers up to 10 but nothing happened. n -

AdministratorI'd ask you to try and change the criteria for refinement. This might help you pick up the area in the vicinity of the droplet.nIf this does not work, I'd try to change the base mesh (to a more refined mesh based on your original coarse simulation results) and then use the mesh adaption you are currently imposing on your simulation.nI hope this helps.nThanks.nKarthikn
