Hi, Why is the hidden line representation of the step file in attachment not OK, Is there a specific setting causing the "long" edged to disappear? Shaded View Hidden Line  As you can see only snippets of the part are correctly displayed.   Thanks in advance for any help. Regards Dimitri

This is a known issue that we have come across and a bug ticket has been filed (535178), especially when the file is imported from some other format (step, etc.). I do not think that this happening due to the larger length of the edge. I tried splitting the geometry to a shorter length, with no help. The developers think that this could be either a translation issue or the geometry itself might have some issues. This is expected to be fixed in future release.

Thank you for you swift reply.

I have seen that if you pull the flanges so the become longer, the result starts to improve.

So maybe the size does matter a bit.

I will pass this info on to my customer.
