SubscriberI am trying to carry a vibroacoustic simulation and check effect of porous materials like foam for acoustic damping. Is it possible to do such simulation in Ansys workbench. I am carrying out the vibration analysis of structure in Ansys workbench

I am not sure if you mean poroelastic acoustic material.
if you mean that then we have added this in recent releases, and these formulation is now available in the current release (2021 R2).
Search in the 2021 R2 help manual for :
poroelastic acoustics
and you will find the chapter.
There is also a small benchmark, but for apdl only - unfortunately I have never used them and we do not have any examples in help, so we can not provide more help.
Finally, to use this in WB mechanical harmonic acoustics, you need to add a command snippet under the foam material just as shown in the help and under that apdl example (there are lots of threads where users add command snippets to change elements or materials for a body.
