      hi everyone, can someone point to how do i fix this error? solver is giving me this after a few seconds running. Solid element 31568 references part number 3 that does not reference a solid section.

      Hi Zhou yang wang, 

      The reason for the error 20389 is due to the specified element formulation (ELFORM on *SECTION) may be applied to the element (*ELEMENT). Please ensure their reference relationship is correctly defined in the *PART. 

      Adding to this,  thin shell element may has been assigned a material number 2  that is not flagged as a thin shell material.
