SubscriberFor true far field it is a transform form all the radiation boundaries to infinite sphere, like it is stated in the setup. For details on far-field calculation, which you can simplify down to Fourier transform, there are a plenty of books written on the topics of aperture arrays and Fourier optics.nFor near-field, a virtual surface is defined, where the transform is performed with near-field specific field data. It is in the manual in the Post Processing and Generating Reports chapter.n
