      Hello,

I was trying to simulate a simple DED simulation in ANSYS, I was using the manual clustering option, But it wasnt able to generate to it. Can anyone where exaclty it was going wrong? I am attaching the relavent information.

      The file.out error message

I see the message:  “Error:  Node 0 is not defined” at the end of your output.

Do all the named selections (components in MAPDL) have at least one element in them?  Maybe your mesh is too course.

Are you able to run thru the example of manual clustering published in Section 5.7.1 in the Additive Manufacturing (R2022-R2)?

Yes, All the bodies in tha named selection have elements in them, Mesh size is 3mm, which is same as the layer slicing height.

No, I wasnot able to do manual clustering. & was getting the same error "“Error:  Node 0 is not defined"
