HELP: Self intersecting or invalid profiles were ignored

  Hi, I'm very new to ANSYS and am trying to analyse compression stress on thin structures.
  I don't understand why the extrusion doesn't work correctly for some of my structures.

  I suggest you extrude those lines as zero thickness surfaces instead of solid bodies. When you have the surfaces you need, use Shared Topology to make the mesh connect across separate surface bodies. In Mechanical, you can assign the thickness to the surfaces that the shell elements will use.
