Hi, 

I am attemping to run a thermo-structrural anysis in Ansys using a combination of shell and solid bodies. Whenever I add the shell bodies to the simulation, I recieve the following fatal error: 

*** ERROR ***                           CP =      51.047   TIME= 12:48:25
 Element 575961 references undefined KXX of material 47.                

Does anyone know why this is occuring and how to fix it?

can you recheck the material definition assigned to shell bodies?

Hi Aniket,

Thank you for your response. I have a attached an image of my material properties that I am using for my shell elements. I think this issue is arrising because shell elements have 6 Dof whereas solid elements have 3 Dof. However, I am unsure how to fix my thermal material properties so this issue doesn't persist. Any advice advice you could offfer would be much apperciated.
