SubscriberHello,Â
I am running a two way coupled heat transfer simulation using Fluent and Static Thermal module. I transfer the fluid temperature and heat transfer coefficient data from Fluent to Static Thermal and the solid surface temperature from Static Thermal to Fluent on the FSI surface. I have a problem with the heat transfer coefficient value while doing a mesh indpendence study of the fluid domain by reducing the first cell height of the inflation layer. I realize that the wall adjacent heat transfer coef. value depends on the wall y plus value, therefore the heat transfer coef. value changes significantly when I reduced the maximum y plus value from 3 to 0.85.Â
So my question is, can I set the heat transfer coef. value that will be transferred to the Static Thermal module as Surface heat transfer coef. value (bcs the Tref is independent of the y plus) instead of the wall adjacent heat transfer coef. value? If yes, can you tell me how to set it? If not, do you have any advice so that the heat that is transferred is independent of the y+?ÂThank you in advance.Â
Best regards,
UtomoÂ
