Have I hit the lower bound for element size in ANSYS Mechanical, or is this a license limitation?

I have been trying to perform a 3-point bending test of a mm-scale fiber in ANSYS Mechanical, and I have run into the error in the included photo. According to ANSYS, the student license is limited to 32,000 nodes for ANSYS Mechanical. However, if I increase my tetrahedron element size from 1 micron to 1.5 microns, I can run the simulation without issues. What is confusing is that at 1.5 microns, I have ~63,000 nodes.
