Harmonic Response Analysis Deformation Scale

      Hello All,

I am running a harmonic response analysis and would like to show images of the deformation of my part. For some reason after I run the analysis and look at the total deformation I am unable to see the deformed model. Does anyone know if this is an issue, or just not an option in ANSYS? Thanks!

You have the total deformation reult set to "maximum over frequency". This is plotting the maximum displacement for any given point in the model, regardless of what phase or frequency it is occuring at, therefore there is no one shape that can capture this result. If you want the shape that corresponds to the overall maximum displacement (occuring at one point), you must look at the phase reponse and the frequency response, and choose the appropriate frequency and phase angle when the maximum occurs, then plot the deformation at this phase and frequency.
