      老师你好,我最近在做光子晶体微腔和波导之间的耦合仿真,结构图如下所示

      我在XYZ方向的边界全部选择的是PML,请问这样选择是否正确,是否要用mesh网格加密光子晶体波导与微腔区域处的网格

      还有在仿真时,条形波导应该穿过PML层还是PML边界与条形波导要保持一段距离

      您好,在您的仿真当中,可以都使用PML边界,layers可以设置为12/16,需要在光子晶体波导与微腔区域处进行 mesh 网格加密 ;是否穿过PML层需要取决于您的关注点是在只微腔与波导的耦合还是要一同关注波导的throughout。——佳研 黄龙鑫

      1.如果我要看微腔与波导耦合后波导的throughout,是否需要让波导穿过PML层?

      2.mesh网格加密波导和微腔区域还是波导与微腔耦合的区域,mesh网格大小设置为多少比较适合

      您好,关于您的following question:
      1)如果您需要throughout端的情况,需要另仿真区域包含throughout端的monitor;
      2)若果您计算资源足够,可以同时加密两个区域;若果计算资源有限,根据您的侧重点是微腔区域模场情况或是耦合系数进行加密。网格大小一般设置为工作波长1/8-1/10。
