We have an exciting announcement about badges coming in May 2025. Until then, we will temporarily stop issuing new badges for course completions and certifications. However, all completions will be recorded and fulfilled after May 2025.

Getting the error “Total number of conductors should equal to one”

      Dear All,

      Good Day !

I am trying to run a Magnetostatic simulation (Eddy Current) to analyse the total forces generated due to current flow in a solid conductor. Please see attached image. The entire conduction path forms a part of a 'Winding'. I have then assigned each conductor faces with 'Coil terminal' as shown in image and with direction accordingly. However, after verifying conduction path, it throws error, "Total number of conductors should equal to one" . Please note that it correctly shows the conduction path, but couldn't verify. I have placed it in the region and it's surface coincides with the boundary assignment. I would like to know where is the mistake occuring (most probably in the number of conductors). Due to sensitivity,I cannot upload actual photo, hence explained with similiar diagram.

      Hello Kaushal,

For "winding", Maxwell would not support multiple terminals for one conduction path.

Could you make cross section in object of "number of conductor =1" as only one coil terminal of winding for thoese multiple terminals? It is the cross section of the object, not outside surface.
