SubscriberI have a geometry with multiple bodies. Ansys mechanical shows question mark on the geometry. Because of which, may be I am not able to apply the loads or the boundary conditions.
I know there is a problem with the geometry. Initially I was getting some sort of warning like there is higher order NURBS. I have heard about NURBS but don't know what exactly it is.

The errors
One more thing. I have linked the geometry in the workbench with the static structural by connecting their nodes.

AdministratorCould you please go into each solid part of your geometry to see if you have missed a selection there?
If this does not work, please take a screenshot of the solid settings which are leading to your question marks and share it with us here.
Thanks.

SubscriberI got your point. Yes those greenish circular bearings are free in space. I need to fix in with the hinge arrangement. How to do this?

AdministratorHello,
Where are your hinges? Not sure if I completely understand the issue you are seeing. Could you please post some screenshots which might help us understand the issue better?
Thanks.

Forum Moderatoryou may have figured it out by now, but for the forum. The error message says Invalid assignment, most probable cause for that is invalid material assignment. Check details of the all the parts and see if right materials have been assigned to them.n-AniketnHow to access Ansys help linksnGuidelines for Posting on Ansys Learning Forumn
