Hi guys I'm simulating a FSI model ( with ansys workbench 2020 R2 system coupling ) it's completely like a balloon inflating but it has some little differences for example a thicker solid part and water liquid as fluid

whole end time 0.33 s in some iterations i considered it 0.5 s too.

For this problem instead of coupling Fluent and Mechanical, I recommended doing the entire simulation in Mechanical with hydrostatic elements for the fluid. A mass flow fluid inlet can even be defined in Mechanical. Mechanical obviously won't solve the Navier-Stokes equations, but the fluid pressure will be calculated from an equation of state.

Hi @Steve and thanks for your response but i have to solve this problem in fluid dimension too because of my master proposal topic (I study in subbranch of fluid engineering ), but do you know why these things happen to the system exactly ( i mean the odd situation of mass inlet versus system volume)? and can you please explain more about solving the problem only in Mechanical as you said above ?

thanks for your response, but i have to solve the simulation in fluid dimension too ( my master proposal is also about analyzing the fluid part ) and do you know why these things happens to the system ( I mean the odd situation of mass inlet versus system volume )? and can you please explain more about simulating in Mechanical part alone ?
