SubscriberHi all,
During the Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI) stage of my simulation, at time step 800, an issue occurred with the upper-left blade (as shown in the attached image).
I’m trying to understand why this problem occurs only in one specific location.
Could someone help identify what exactly is happening here and which settings I could adjust to avoid this issue in the future?
Thanks in advance for any insights!

Ansys EmployeeCheck the mapping summary in the System Coupling log file. Was the the percent nodes or area mapped less than 100% on either the source or target side? If not, determine why. Also, check that the mesh resolution on the blade is adequate for for the fluid and solid meshes.

SubscriberFrom what I’ve checked so far, the mapping quality is close to 100%.
Could the cause of this issue be related to the meshing process, where I used the Sweep method but received the message:"An all-quad-free face mesh type was chosen, but some triangles were created during meshing."
In other words, could the presence of triangular elements mixed with quadrilateral elements be the reason this problem is occurring?
