SubscriberHello to all,
I need to model the flow in an FSI valve. I would like to know if it is possible with Ansys to model the evolution of the fluid flow as contact is established. A simplified example of my study is attached

SubscribernI tried to search a little, the tuto you advised me for the similar case I can't find it, can you put me a link please? I have seen other simulations on ? Simulating Fluid-Structure Interaction in a Ball Check Valve ? and they proposed not to represent total contact, to always leave a small gap in contact, do you think it's better to do it that way?nOctober 12, 2020 at 9:28 amRob
Forum ModeratorThe gap is to avoid changing topology which isn't recommended. It looks like the old IC tutorial has been superseded, there are the two videos in Help, Fluent:Dynamic Mesh Problem for a Piston and Reed Valve - Part I which should get you going. nViewing 3 reply threads- The topic ‘FSI bi’ is closed to new replies.
