Hello,

I'm trying to create a FSI model to simulate an impacto of a shell element on the water using the S-ALE formulation.

I've definied all the keywords necessary for the model but running the analysis i get this error.

I've used shell elements with elastic material and mat null for the water

Hi

I would have a whole block s-ale domain for the air that also covers the water and air on top of water, and then a separate s-ale fill part for water (H20 – below) – see sketch.

(the below approach is ok and used can be used in most cases if we look at s-ale – I see you do not represent background air)
