SubscriberHello everyone!Â
I have a problem in my analysis that I cant see how to solve now..
I want to give free rotation in a disc to see it decelerate by applying pressure on two pads which have frictional contact on its surface.
I successfully put it in the desired rotational velocity (50 rad/s) by applying rotational acceleration for a standard period of time(Load step1 & 2). When I want it to start free rotation (Load step 3), I simply deactivate the rotational accel. on the rest of the load steps.
When I run the simulation, right before entering load step 3, I get error.Â
Any info of what I should do differently??Â
Thanks!

SubscriberHello!
Thanks for your answer! Actually I have followed that tutorial very closely, but still get errors right at the moment that it is supposed to start the free rotation(rot. Accel = 0 and the next step is deactivated).
I will keep trying changing stuff..

SubscriberHello again! I made progress with my model, BUT..!!!
watching more closely the tutorial, why did you give that huge mass on the disc and not something more common like the total mass of a car, lets say 1200kg ??
Follow that link to check this:

Go to that moment :Â Â Â 1:55 / 6:32
