I have been assigned a work in which a sheet metal is rammed by a object upto it's failure point and have to plot formaing limiting curve. I will attach the photo of the sheet and how the forming is done. Can you pls suggest me what are the steps should I follow to firstly analyse this problem and then plot forming limiting curve. I have the sheet modelled only analysis is remaining and sheet is of aluminium material being elastic in nature.

Hi
Include plasticity (search the internet for that – we have also a course here – plasticity search: https://innovationspace.ansys.com/product/metal-plasticity/).
To see the force: Look at the force reaction at the fixed support or in the dispalacement used to push the punch (use that on punch – displacement), and you will see the maximum load it can take.
It will be close to the plastic bending moment for a plate (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plastic_moment).
All the best
Erik
