SubscriberDear Friends,
I have few questions
- Do you how we can get the Fluid stucuture Interaction theory which is used for the Ansys 2023R2. I was not able in the workbench help command.
- Whenever I decompse my fluid domain geometry into mulitple parts. During the dynamic mesh step, I choose all the interface surface between the strucutrue and fluid. But, whenever I try to create the 2way data transfer beside the single surface, I couldnt able to create the Data transfer with other surface. Does it mean, Ansys only solve 2-FSI calculation for single surface?Â
- Any good resources or youtube videos.Â

Ansys EmployeeHi,
2-way FSI can be setup with system coupling Using System Coupling in Workbench (ansys.com).
Please find the rules for creating the data transfer in FSI simulation Rules for the Creation of Data Transfers (ansys.com)
Refer some tutorials available here System Coupling Tutorials (ansys.com)
Hope this helps you!

I cannot able to see the theory behind the FSI still, I just some coupling rules and example. Do you have any documentation for the FSI ?

Ansys EmployeeHi,
Please refer 17.2. The FSI Model (ansys.com) a intrinsic FSI model theory.Â
Individual solvers works in same way for non-FSI cases, for FSI cases FSI interface has system coupling BC which receives the data from other participant solution.
