SubscriberI have Ansys academic research license under the student team category. I found that Fluent is running too slow even for simple 2D problems when connected to the internet and when the internet is switched off simulation speeds up. Can someone help me with this issue?n -

Forum ModeratorAssuming you're not hogging all the cpu and RAM watching YouTube, there shouldn't be a problem. If you check the system load what's taking all the cpu & RAM? Note, VPN can cause issues with the licence.

Forum Moderator.YasserSelima try port 127.0.0.1 for the Fluent IP. In theory that stops the solver falling over.
