SubscriberHello,I'm doing an aerodynamics analysis on vehicle using fluent.
I completed calculations and got a very fair results.
The problem is i couldnt find the iteration history for the scaled residuals, i saved the whole project and the fluent setup but i cant find the details anywhere.
I managed to find the results for the CD and CL but the scaled residuals aee missing.
Can anyone help?
Thank you.
P. S : a iteration history for the cd is attached and i want the same for the scaled residuals. -

Ansys EmployeeGo under residual's and plot. I guess only last 1000 iteration are stored if you did not change the default behavior.

Thank you amine Yes, i know how to plot the residuals. But the thing is i need the data which is used for plotting the graph, so i can use it in another program. I need it as a txt file or something similar, -

Ansys EmployeeOkay. I do remember that writing option has been dropped. You need to initiate it from beginning. I need to check -

Yes, there is NO writing option for the scaled residuals. But, as d long as the fluent is able to plot it. Then the data must be there somewhere. I can't really do the calculation all over again. I would really appreciate if you could help me out.
Thanks again. -

Ansys EmployeeIn Fluent console:
1) /plot/residuals-set ptf then give a name for the file
2) /plot/residuals
Then select the equations which will be written in the file. You can then read back the file into Fluent to plot it or use elsewhere!

I will give it a try and tell you what happens.
Thank you sir. -

Thank you sir.
Anyway i can get the iteration's CP HISTORY, I have the Cd values but i only need the cp and the viscous coefficient as separate values not as a sum.
Thanks again.
