ALEXANDRE COSTA
SubscriberHello,
I just made the following profile example.csv (from the users guide) :
[Name]outlet[Data]x,y,z,x-velocity-0.00036448459,0.0068932362,3,0.050.0014999653,-0.0090896944,3,0.05Â[Name]transient-temperature[Data]time,temperature1.1,3001.2,3501.3,400ÂWhen I issue :/file/read-profile "example.csv"ÂFluent outputs the following error :ÂReading "example.csv"...Reading CSV profile file...Error at host: Read_CSV_Profile: Failed to extract profile type information based on field names. Check field names.Any helpful guideline is very welcome . Thanks.

Forum ModeratorIs your model 2d or 3d? Is it transient and is energy on? If you copied the text from the manual please check for white space characters as Fluent may not like some of them.Â
