Ansys EmployeeHi, you are looking here at the "backflow" pressure. This is the pressure specified when you have backflow, i.e. inflow at the outlet. By using Total Pressure you will automatically have a static pressure which is smaller than the Gauge pressure, as Ptot=P+Pdyn, Â hence promoting the flow out of the domain instead of inflow.
