Hi, you are looking here at the "backflow" pressure. This is the pressure specified when you have backflow, i.e. inflow at the outlet. By using Total Pressure you will automatically have a static pressure which is smaller than the Gauge pressure, as Ptot=P+Pdyn, Â hence promoting the flow out of the domain instead of inflow.
