Subscriberso i was having this problem for some time now and ive been trying to get help here but you guy's suggestions dont work whatsoever and when i try to point that out i dont get a second response anyways i digress, so i am trying to do a 2D fluent simulation and i did everything in workbench and when i get to fluent launcher i get thisÂ
the dimension is locked into 3D (although as i said before its a 2D model) and so when i try to run fluent i get a bunch of errors.
what the hell is going on?

Ansys EmployeeAs ANSYS Staff, we can not download attachments. Please insert images using insert image functionality.Â
as mentioned in previous threads, for 2D, you will have to sketch geometry in XY plane.Â
are you using workbench?
if you create and mesh geometry in workbench, fluent will automatically take it as 2D.
