SubscriberHi,
I am trying to use a Pressure based solver. I have a velocity inlet (103 m/s) and pressure Outlet (0 Pa) (Note that Operating Pressure is 860 Pa. My system operates at a tal pressure of 860 Pa). Using this Boundary Conditions I solved the problem in ANSYS Fluent a week ago. I am trying to solve the same problem on the same Mesh now and I get the following error (image attached).

The warning message just tells that no pressure information is available on domain inlets. That is why no laplace equation is solved for pressure. Constant pressure is assumed. Just run the case. -

SubscriberNo, the grid is the same. I mean everything is the same, geometry, mesh size, boundary conditions. When I ran it on fluent, for the very first time there was no such error. It was solving for pressure as well. However, when I tried to run the same problem today (everything same not a single change) it gave me that error.Â
Since the pressure is 860 Pa. I set 860 Pa as operating conditions and on the pressure outlet bc is have 0 pa value

Ansys EmployeeThat is only a warning and not an error.
You can start working.
If still not persuaded change velocity inlet to pressure inlet and the warning would disappear. But as I said stick to the setup you gave and ignore the warning or do standard initialization. -

SubscriberThe problem is that after a few iterations the solution starts diverging. Let me try with the standard initialization and then maybe with a pressure inlet

I still didn't get why did it say that this case has both inlet and outlet. Well, most of the fluid problem have inlet and outlet??

SubscriberYeah, you are correct!! With standard Initialization, it doesn't diverge but sometimes gives reverse flow on xx number of faces on pressure outlet in the solution window.
