SubscriberHello, I want to write an expression for Cp when I work in Fluent. I do not understand why I can do for the rest of thermal properties but not for specific heat. Can I activate it in any way? Is there a version where it was okay but I work with an older one (v2023r2)? I am working with linear density (not ideal-gas)
Thanks for your help

Forum ModeratorCp is a little different in that it effects heat absorbed into the material so altering the value messes with the energy equation. Even the UDF is different to the other material properties, ie DEFINE_PROPERTY for most and then there's DEFINE_SPECIFIC_HEAT.
It's not available in 25R2, and I suspect your best option is a UDF.
