Fluent crashing when drawing pathlines

Fluent crashes when I try to draw pathlines, I have provided the error log below if anyone has any idea why this is happening.

From the error files I get an abnormal exit on all the nodes I am attempting to run Fluent on. I can do contours, and vectors, however pathlines crashes it every time.

Error [node 999999] [time 12/8/21 0:9:46] Abnormal Exit!

Can you check what else is written in the log/transcript. The above isn't overly diagnostic. As a check, what are you releasing the pathlines from?

I think I found out what the issue is, it's either not enough RAM, or too much load on the core. For some reason drawing pathlines only loads up one core even though I'm running Fluent in parallel.
Only way I can resolve this is by changing the mesh to reduce the element count.

Try using the skip/coarsen option. Pathlines do use some parallel resource but it depends which core they're on. Also release from a surface and not a volume.

Ok I'll try that, I've been releasing from the volume so perhaps that's where my bottleneck is. In terms of parallel resourcing the max I have seen is two cores, it's been a major hassle so far so I'll see if this speeds things up.

Releasing from volume or internal volume faces to be correct is not a good idea
