Fluent Black Screen (ANSYS 19.2 Academic license)

      Hi there,

I used to work fine with 19.2 on my notebook (Microsoft Surface Pro 5) but i don't know why Fluent became "black screen"

I have the exact same computer, configuration and the  same "black screen" problem in ANSYS Academic 19.2 with Josh in this thread: /forum/forums/topic/fluent-s-black-empty-graphic-window/. But after going through all similar articles regarding this, I still can't figure out how to solve it, especially the "msw / opengl" idea.

      Can someone please help?

      Thank you so much.

let fluent read the case file completely.

once you read case file in fluent please use following

      /display/set/colors

here you will have different options.

      try them

This is likely graphics related issue.nTry updating your graphics driver from vendor website (do not use Device Manager to find/update the driver)nIf that doesn't help, try adding the followingnFLUENT_LAUNCHER_OPTIONS=-driver mswnin the Environment tab of Fluent Launcher.nIf that doesn't help either change from 'msw' to 'opengl' or 'opengl2'

Fluent Launcher is the panel that comes up when you launch Fluent. nn
