Hey, I want to find the aerodynamic coefficients acting on a projectile which is spinning at a certain rpm and moving at supersnic speed buy I am unable to spin the body in ansys fluent. I have tried moving wall rotational motion option and also reference frame rotation option but nothing is working. Also in order to find the aerodynamic coefficients I have to the body inside the fluid domain dead. So i you can tell what am I doing wrong due to which body is not spinning?

Hello,Â
the moving wall and frame options do not move them mesh, they only adjust the governing equations in the solver to account for the movement. Instead, for pure rotation motion I would recommend using Sliding Mesh: 12.2. Sliding Mesh Examples (ansys.com).
