SubscriberGood morning, I should simulate the motion of a particle, which is hit by a flow that drags it, inside a wind tunnel using a dynamic mesh. Is it possible to do this with Ansys Fluent, and if so, how can I do it?

Forum ModeratorAssuming it doesn't need to hit anything then you're looking at the 6DOF solver in moving/deforming mesh. If the particle is very small then DPM or adding Ansys Rocky to the Fluent solver may be more efficient.

SubscriberI recommend utilizing Ansys Rocky in conjunction with Fluent for your application. Depending on the extent to which particles affect the airflow, you have the option to select either 1-way coupling or 2-way coupling. Here is an example of airflow moving particles: https://youtu.be/7UP7D54J2wE.
