Floating point error

      Hello,

Could someone please help me with this error when I run (DPM) Eulerien model?

I keep getting Floating point error after some iterations.

      Thank you very much!

DPM isn't Eulerian unless you're running DDPM?  How are the residuals looking as the solver fails?

Hi Rob and Thank you for your reply!

Yes, you are right I'm sorry, it is DDPM. I will attach a picture of the residuals. they vary as I change some geometries but always fails the same way, with a great spike.

OK, so the model has diverged. It's not looking to good up to that point either. How does the flow field look at the 1100 iteration point?

Thank you Rob. How can I check that, if I may ask please? I'm new to this and still learning.

In another geometry the residuals looks much smoother but still diverges and gives the same result

I tried using a different turbulence model, it does not diverge but doesnt converge either. I was using Realizable k-e and changed to SST k-w

That's moving rather than solving the problem, but will give some clues as to what's going wrong. Have a look at the flow field and volume fraction to see where things aren't working properly.
