SubscriberHello everyone,
I've been trying to mesh a particular geometry, but keep getting the "The model contains self-intersections which could not be automatically repaired. Use the Diagnostics tools to find the location of the problem" error. I know that I can fix these with Diagnostics, but even after fixing all of them, I keep getting the same error, preventing me from meshing the model. I've also tried fixing the CAD model itself and using Share Topology but these didn't help either. How can I fix this?

Ansys EmployeePlease check geometry in SpaceClaim.Â
Select geometry in structure tree --> Use right click --> Select Check Geometry. (Or Tools - Fault Detection in DM)
The geometry should be error free to proceed.Â
If geometry has any errors, please modify/recreate geometry at those places.ÂAlso use diagnostic tool to identify locations. Then modify geometry at those locations in SpaceClaim.Â
Try to reduce number of bodies in SpaceClaim by combining them.Â
Test with couple of bodies only. Then add more bodies.Â
Please go through help manual for more detailsÂ
