SubscriberHi,
Â
Im working on file in motion standalone application which has a base and an arm that rotates. I have defined a revolute joint between these two bodies. But how do i define a fixed support to the base. Because of gravity the geometry is going down and i dont see an option for fixed support in ansys motion preprocessor standalone application. This is a very simple simulation and but im new to motion standalone application.
The image below is the simulation that im working on. The body is orange is rotating and the other one is supposed to be fixed.Â
Thanks and Regards,
Khan

SubscriberHi Ankush,
Â
Actually i was trying that yesterday and was selecting ground from the feature tree and it was not working. But today i just clicked on the side of the model and ground was selected. Is this the way to select ground in motion preprocessor? Thank you for your response.
Â

Khan

Ansys EmployeeHi,
Just do the right click on ground in the feature tree and select pick.
