      Dear All

      I am using Ansys 2016. My model include a beam is fixed at it' a head, and a force is at the other. When I solve, it error. Please see on picture. Can you explain why and how repair it. Thank you so much!

      Please share an image of the mesh. What kind of elements are you using? If you are using solid elements try to reduce the element size and remesh with few more elements in each direction.nnRegards,nIshan.nn

      nTry inserting a mesh sizing control with at least 2 elements along each edge (z and x axix) and let me know if the error persists. You could also run a modal analysis to check whether the constraints look good or not. Large deflection also causes a pivot error in some cases. You could try reducing the load or adding a stiffer material.nnRegards nIshann
