Finding the Point of Maximum Force

      Hi,

I would like to simulate the short circuit force through a conductor. Is there a way to find the location of the maximum force? The scale shows a lot higher value that I can see. I do not see any red on the conductor.

       I should add that I'm using Maxwell3D

I suggest you ask Maxwell3D questions in the Electromagnetics category.  I can move it there if you like, or you can edit it and move it there.

Thanks for the suggestion. I added moved it to the Electromagnetics category.

      Hello,

can you add some screenshots of your model and the results plot you are looking at?

Please use the insert image option, not as an attachment.

      Hi,

Here is a screenshot of my results. The maximum force is significantly higher than the maximum force that I can see so i would like to find where that is.

      Hi, joshstew,

You can double click the scale bar and change the size of the arrows to larger ones for clearer view. If you find a rough region where the max point locates, then you need to narrow the scale for plotting the force (increase the lower limit) so there will be clearer color distribution near the big forces and you can distinguish which exact point is the biggest force. Also, you can use field calculator max-->position to get the coordinate position of the max force.
