Hello,
I am working with Lumerical mode for a project. I am trying to extract the first several effective indices of a waveguide using a script (as opposed to manually calculating them in the edit window of the mode soruce object). I am very new to Lumerical scripting, and I can't sem to find the proper functions for this task.
I would appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance
Amir

Hi Amir,
Thank you for reaching out to us. Just to clarify, which of the following two are you trying to do through the scripts? Run the whole analysis and obtain a list of modes (and their refractive index), or just access the effective index of a given mode?
Kind Regards,
Niki
