Hello,

As you can see , I have this error when I try to dowload the student version of Ansys . (19.2) 

I tried to reinstall the software many times but nothing to do ..

This happens only on my computer ( MSI GL62M 7REX - Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050 Ti ) so I tried to download the whole file on an other computer and to transfer it to this one but it doesn't work ..

I need this software for one of my courses so I don't know what to do .. If someone has an idea ?

Hello Enzo,

 

Did you ensure that you extracted the zip file prior to trying to install?  Could you provide the contents of this file? If it shows a size of 0kb, try deleting it and then run your install again.

%APPDATA%Ansysv192ProdConfiguninstall_data.data file?

Thank you for your answer .

Yes I have extracted it before the installation . ( The software works , I can mesh on fluent but as soon as  I try to launch the solver it crashes ) .

The problem is that , I have no file named "uninst_data.dat" or "uninstall_data.data" .

After reinstalling , this is my file : 

 As you can see , the file size is not equal to 0 ko ..

Do you see any error when trying to solve? Can you share screenshots?  It appears the install completed if you have gotten through the installation process, and the uninst_data.dat message is not relevant.

 

What files exist in C:ProgrammesAnsys Inc and C:ProgrammesAnsys IncANSYS Student?

Finally I reinstalled it from the beginning and now it works .

The same message appears during the installation but now I can launch the solver without any problem .

Matt I do not see the folder you sau=id to try and delete. When I try to download I get the "critical error" box but it doesn't come up with an error it just stays white. Please let me know

Please create a new thread and search some past threads for info/resolution on this issue. There have been quite a few of them this past month.

Hello I have the same issue, I have extracted the ZIP and the install it, but when i try to run the installation this comes: nBut the installation was running anyway. The thing is that the program is not working because at the end of the installation it shows that there was a fatal error. Eventhough, the folder has been created and but I cant find the program.n n
